Speer Memorial Library houses over 100,000 books, paperbacks, and audiovisual material. The library has a budget of over $1,000,000, some 30+ paid staff, along with additional work-study and other "volunteer" workers who help in the library as well as in library-sponsored programs such as "GED" training, Income Tax assistance, and Computer Literacy.

Our most popular informational, educational, and recreational acquisition is available at each of our 94-plus publicly accessible computer terminals, 6 Surface tablets, and 7 iPads.

The library has meeting rooms available for reservation to groups whose purposes are civic, cultural, or educational. These rooms are not available for the following purposes: business and corporate sales or promotional meetings, partisan groups, religious meetings, social affairs, or receptions of a personal nature.
